Everything is going well, although we have started a list of things we forgot or would like for future camping trips. One is a bin for recycling. We can then tote it home to recycle. The campground does not offer a recycle option, but we can certainly take care of that ourselves.
Other things we forgot:
- Work gloves
- Coffee filters (What?!?!?)
- Carafe – this is a total luxury since we are camping with other people we could make a pot of coffee, pour it in the carafe and then make another pot to keep everyone’s mugs filled. (As it turns out no one likes our French vanilla flavored coffee – so this may get crossed off the list)
- Dish rag/sponge
- Little patio table for between our bag chairs when we are tired of sitting at the picnic table
- Mattress topper – unless you like the feel of sleeping on top of a table
Last but not least, we need to figure out our outdoor kitchen set up. Grill? Propane burners? We don’t know yet what we will end up with, but it is nice to do as much cooking outside as possible. It is a little hard to get used to the lack of counter space in the camper. It might make a difference if most of our counter was not taken up with our bar. We do love our variety of mixers!
As time goes on, I will show you all of our supplies, but for now you just get to know what we forgot!
Happy Camping and love every day that you can Get Out & Go!
It’s a beautiful weekend for camping. Then again, aren’t they all?
